The latest revision of theISO 14801standard for fatigue testing specifies a method for testing of these pre-angled dental implants in a laboratory situation. The standard requires the implant to be aligned so that the angle of loading is 10° greater than between the implant axis and the axis of the angled portion of the connecting part.
